Sharing my Ham Radio Journey

Ever since I started my custom site, over at ww0cj.radio, I had a page dedicated to my amateur radio journey. It featured a lot of the same details as my QRZ page - minus some images I have up. I think it is a great idea to keep a timeline of one's ham radio journey and the major activities they take part in over time - whether it's the form of a timeline like mine, or a journal, or a series of blosts.

A few months ago, I saw some hams on the Fediverse developing HamChallenge - a year long challenge to get people active and involved in certain niches of ham radio. I think the idea is fantastic, and while I'm not only getting a late start here, I'm also going to be participating in an odd way. I don't have a full shack, so some of these might be a bit more difficult. Rather than sticking to a week by week format, I'll be jumping around a bit and doing what I can as often as I can.

Today, I'm tackling Week 5's challenge - "Update your profile on QRZ.com, HamQTH.com, etc." I've moved my amateur radio "biography" over to my new site, linked to it on my QRZ profile, and updated it with the latest information of what I did in 2024. I hope that I can put down some interesting marks for 2025 as I keep it up-to-date!
